An ongoing battle between the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, Inc and Peter Rost, has ended with the Pfizer firing their Vice President of Corporate Marketing, as written in an article by Alex Berenson of the New York Times.
Anyone who has been keeping up to date on this ongoing battle will remember the lawsuit Rost filed against the company in 2003. These court documents were unsealed and revealed that Rost accused the company Pharmacia, which is owned by Pfizer, of illegally marketing the sale of human growth hormone for non-permitted activities.
Pfizer contends that it was aware of these activities by Pharmacia, and had informed the FDA weeks before Rost filed his lawsuit.
